ABOUT THIS IMAGE
Anyone who has tried to make a photograph at Dante's Peak with a large format camera, knows that the wind is going to dictate whether or not it's going to happen that day. Much the same as my effort at Zabriskie Point (made the same day) Mother Nature didn't notice that I had taken my camera out of it's bag, taking advantage of the moment, I made this picture.
