ABOUT THIS IMAGE.
For several years Howard Bliss the caretaker of an abandoned mine in Darwin California had allowed me and several of my friends to photograph in and around the mine he looked after. Just days prior to this visit, Howard had passed away, and it only seemed right to document his workshop on film. The next day his beloved Porsche 912 and many of his belongings were to be recovered by family.
