Goldpointghosttown Gold Point is a 'living' Ghost Town, about one hour from Death Valley. This place is one of, if not the best preserved Ghost Towns I have seen. Operated by a very friendly Herb Robbins and his girlfriend Sandy. They offer cabins for rent @$79 a night which includes breakfast and a guided tour of the Town, which includes a wonderful 110ft long saloon!! If you are looking for a taste of the true 'old-west' this is the best place to go.
